By accessing or using the CRX.pro website (the “Site”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Climate Risk Expert, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

  • Training-Only Scope: The data, models, and simulation tools on CRX.pro are provided strictly for educational, training, and research purposes only.
     

  • No Operational Use: You agree not to use any aspect of the Site—including simulations, outputs, or datasets—for real-world decision-making related to finance, investment, policy, regulatory compliance, engineering, operations, or risk management.
     

  • User Assumes All Risk: Any use of the Site content beyond its intended educational purpose is undertaken solely at your own risk, and you assume full legal responsibility for such use.
     

Climate Risk Expert, Inc. makes no representations or warranties—express or implied—as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of any data, models, or outcomes generated on CRX.pro.

2. Eligibility and Jurisdiction

  • U.S. Use Only: CRX.pro is intended exclusively for individuals and organizations located in the United States. You must be physically located within the United States to access or use the Site.
     

  • Export and Sanctions Compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not subject to U.S. sanctions or listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable U.S. export control and economic sanctions laws.
     

  • Access Restrictions: We reserve the right to monitor and restrict access to the Site for users accessing it from prohibited jurisdictions or using anonymizing tools (e.g., VPNs) to circumvent these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property and Site Content

All content and technology on the Site, including but not limited to text, visualizations, data layers, user interfaces, graphics, simulations, models, tools, source code, branding, trademarks, and logos (collectively, “Site Content”) are the intellectual property of Climate Risk Expert, Inc. or its licensors.

  • You may not:

    • Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, decompile, sell, or publicly display any part of the Site Content without prior written consent;
       

    • Use automated tools to scrape or download data, simulations, or metadata from the Site.

4. User Content and Submissions

If you submit, upload, or transmit any content to the Site (“User Content”), you represent and warrant that:

  • You have full rights and authority to submit such content;
     

  • Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or proprietary rights of others.

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt such content in connection with the Site and future training or platform development.

​We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content at any time for any reason, including content we deem inappropriate, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.

5. Disclaimers and No Warranties

The Site is provided on an "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," and "WITH ALL FAULTS" basis without warranties of any kind.


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Climate Risk Expert, Inc. expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose;
     

  • Accuracy, reliability, timeliness, or completeness of the Site Content;
     

  • Non-infringement or quiet enjoyment;
     

  • Availability, functionality, or uninterrupted access to the Site.

No oral or written information provided by Climate Risk Expert, Inc. shall create any warranty.

You alone are responsible for all decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from your use of this Site.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Climate Risk Expert, Inc. shall not be liable to you or any third party for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, special, or exemplary damages;
     

  • Loss of profits, revenue, business, data, use, or goodwill;
     

  • Claims arising out of or relating to your access to or use of—or inability to access or use—the Site, its content, or any services.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, etc.) and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.


In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
 

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Climate Risk Expert, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Site in violation of these Terms;
     

  • Your reliance on Site Content for real-world applications;
     

  • Your violation of applicable law or the rights of a third party.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice or liability, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or are using the Site in a manner inconsistent with its educational purpose or intended jurisdiction.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

11. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Climate Risk Expert, Inc. regarding use of the Site.
     

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
     

  • Waiver: No waiver by us of any breach or default shall be deemed a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.

  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
